WINE ADVOCATE, A TRIUMPH FOR TENUTA DELL'ORNELLAIA

With a timely article by Antonio Galloni on the 2006 vintage of the great Tuscan reds, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate has scooped the other major national and international wine guides.
This is the first look at the vintage, and has just been uploaded to the site of Parker's prestigious review.
The wines of the Tenuta Dell'Ornellaia placed at the top of the ranking, with the following scores:
Masseto received 99 points, the highest score ever Antonio Galloni, who refuses to assign 100 because he doesn't believe in absolute perfection, has ever assigned a wine. Ornellaia received 97 points, and continues its climb to the Olympus of great reds; Le Serre Nuove received 94 points, and has also rightfully entered the ranks of the great Tuscan Reds
